General Purpose Worker

Job Objectives:

• To ensure round-the-clock shifts to load and unload cargoes/containers to/from ships as safely and quickly as possible.
• To ensure meeting KPI set by the management for vessel and yard operations and to provide consistent excellent service.
• To ensure a safe, efficient, and economical handling of vessel and yard operations in the terminal.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform variety of manual duties such as lashing and shoring cargo aboard ship, attaching slings, hooks, or other lifting devices to winch for loading/unloading, and signaling other workers to move, raise or lower cargo. 
2. Communicate with Foreman/Supervisor for loading/ discharge instructions, or safety hazards.
3. Performs other duties that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
4. Report problems and issues to the Foreman/Supervisor as needed, especially issues of complexity or great impact on the operation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or Industrial Management or any Import/Export course or any course analogous to cargo and logistics.
• With at least 1 years’ experience working in logistics, cargo, freight and forwarding or any similar industry.
• Proficient in both oral and written English and Filipino language.
• Must be willing to travel and be assigned on field work from time to time.

HSSE Supervisor

Job Objectives:.

• The HSSE Supervisor oversees the implementation and maintenance of health, safety, security, and environmental management systems. The role ensures compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards while fostering a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and monitor HSSE policies, procedures, and programs.
2. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.
3. Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits.
4. Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
5. Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, preparing detailed reports and corrective action plans.

Draftsman

Job Objectives:

• To deliver reliable drafting outputs that assist project teams in achieving design accuracy, compliance, and construction efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drawing Preparation and Documentation

• Prepare accurate 2D and/or 3D technical drawings based on sketches, design concepts, and engineering calculations.
• Develop architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings as required by the project.
• Produce shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details in accordance with approved plans.
• Prepare as-built drawings reflecting actual site conditions and approved variations.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards, drafting conventions, and project specifications.
• Maintain proper layering, scaling, dimensioning, and annotation in all drawings.

2. Coordination and Design Support

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to clarify design intent and technical requirements.

Crane Mechanical Technician

Job Objectives:

• Troubleshoots Quay Cranes. Lubricates the hoist wire rope, drum, steering, and trolley motor (to prevent rust). Replaces loose bolts of the solenoid on the spreader. Adjusts/ hoist trolley the wire rope of Operator’s cabin. Assists in the repair of spare parts, conducts actual inspections of their equipment before their actual operation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Trouble shoots Quay Cranes, attends to mechanical problems with the proper coordination of the Operator.
2. Changes the hydraulic hose.
3. Undertakes preventive maintenance of equipment by strictly following the schedule.
4. Follows the safety rules and regulations of the Company.
5. Adjust the trolley break and wire ropes.
6. Replaces the gantry travel.
7. Conducts the actual inspection of equipments before and after their operation for safety purposes.
8. Lubricates hoist wire ropes, drum, steering, etc.
9. Adjusts the trolley wire rope and hoist wire ropes.
10. Performs pre-operational checkup of engines.

Qualifications:

• College Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 2 years experience as heavy equipment mechanic

On Call Safety Utility

Job Objectives:

• Provide temporary or on-demand support to safety operations, ensuring compliance with workplace safety policies and assisting with emergency response, inspections, and general utility tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
2. Monitor compliance with safety procedures, regulations, and company policies.
3. Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations and incident management.

On Call Trailer Truck Driver

Job Objectives:

• Transfers the Containers from the quayside to Container Yard and vice versa. Sees to it that equipment and all the units mounted in it are properly working and are well maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operates the Prime Mover with caution always. Follows the safety rules of the Company.
2. Conveys containers in the fastest and safest manner from vessels to the Container Yard during discharge and vice versa during loading.
3. Reports to the Operations Foreman/Terminal Manager before the start of operation.
4. Secures the trip ticket for his designated assignment and proceeds immediately to the assigned Prime Mover.
5. Inspects the equipment/chassis and its parts prior to operating the equipment.
6. Follows SOP on chassis mounting and dismounting.
7. Inspects regularly the equipment and reports immediately any abnormalities to the maintenance section to avoid further damage to the equipment.
8. Reports any abnormalities observed to the Operations Foreman/Terminal Manager and/or Maintenance for Job Order preparations and corrective actions at the Maintenance Section.
9. Subsidiary Activities: Performs other administrative functions.
10. Combination Tasks: Make sure the Supervisor/Foreman properly signs the trip ticket before/after using the equipment. Vulcanizes/changes tires.
11. Other duties: Performs other duties as that maybe assigned by the superior from time to time. 
12.  Operates Forklift if deemed necessary.

Qualifications:

• At least High School graduate
• 2-year experience in related field
• Male
• 25 to 40 years old
• Must be a multi-skilled operator
• Has driving skills and also a holder of a valid driver’s license with restriction code 8.

Job Objectives:

• To ensure all facility electrical systems are operational and well-maintained by conducting inspections, monitoring, troubleshooting, installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and electrical installation works on lighting facilities, electric motors, power systems, power centers, reefer rack outlets, and other existing terminal electrical systems.

Mobile Electro Mechanic

Job Objectives:

• An Electro Mechanic installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical and mechanical systems used in industrial equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role combines knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Sub-Station Electrician

Job Objectives:

• In charge of the daily operations, preventative, and corrective maintenance of the substation's facilities and equipment to guarantee the effectiveness of the supply of adequate electricity at the SBITC NCT1 and NCT2 Terminal, whether from the Standby Diesel Genset Units or the Power Utility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Performing Preventive and Corrective Maintenance in the Substations facilities
2. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of equipment performance, maintenance history, and Power Consumption.
3. Emergency Response: Respond to power outages or system disturbances, often during irregular hours or inclement weather, to restore service promptly.
4. System Testing: Use diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, megohmmeters, insulation testers) to verify the integrity of electrical circuits, relays, and battery systems.
5. Operates Generator Set during Power Outages (On Call Duty)
6. Responsible for the efficient operation and quality preventive and corrective maintenance of Substation equipment and accessories through performing/completing work orders with reference to Manuals and Standard Operating Procedures.
7. Responsible for the monitoring, preparation, and withdrawal of spare parts and materials needed in the conduct of operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, and housekeeping of the Substations.
8. Conducts daily inspections of all Substation equipment and sees to it that all of them are in good working conditions.
9. Performs mechanical and electrical tests on Substation equipment using test equipment (Megger, Hipot, TTR, Multi-Amp, etc.) and records the results in the forms provided.
10. Performs functional tests/checks on all maintained and corrected/rectified Substation equipment.
11. Conducts Standby Genset operations during power interruptions to ensure continuity in port operations.
12. Executes projects as prescribed/scheduled by the Substation head, such as power cable laying, splicing, and termination.
13. Assists the Substation head in monitoring activities done by outside Contractors on the Substation equipment and premises.
14. Performs trouble shooting/tracing and corrective maintenance on electrical system either in high, medium, and low voltage switchgear including controls.
15. Shall ensure that all SBIT's company policies are implemented and observed.

Qualifications:

• A Registered Master Electrician / License Electrical Engineer will be an advantage.
• Must be a licensed REE or Master Electrician or Certified Plant Mechanic.
• Can understand schematic/single diagram of substation electrical component/ system.
• Able to work on environments exposed to dust, live electrical lines, smoke, and noise.
• Knowledgeable in high, medium, and low voltage power cable termination and splicing.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose electrical faults under pressure
• Knowledge in Generator Set Operation is ag Advantage
• Can do Building Repairs with minimum Supervision
