General Purpose Worker

Job Objectives:.

  • To ensure round-the-clock shifts to load and unload cargoes/containers to/from ships as safely and quickly as possible.
  • To ensure meeting KPI set by the management for vessel and yard operations and to provide consistent excellent service.
  • To ensure a safe, efficient, and economical handling of vessel and yard operations in the terminal.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform variety of manual duties such as lashing and shoring cargo aboard ship, attaching slings, hooks, or other lifting devices to winch for loading/unloading, and signaling other workers to move, raise or lower cargo. 
2. Communicate with Foreman/Supervisor for loading/ discharge instructions, or safety hazards.
3. Performs other duties that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
4. Report problems and issues to the Foreman/Supervisor as needed, especially issues of complexity or great impact on the operation.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or Industrial Management or any Import/Export course or any course analogous to cargo and logistics.
2. With at least 1 years’ experience working in logistics, cargo, freight and forwarding or any similar industry.
3. Proficient in both oral and written English and Filipino language.
4. Must be willing to travel and be assigned on field work from time to time.

HSSE Supervisor

Job Objectives:.

  • The HSSE Supervisor oversees the implementation and maintenance of health, safety, security, and environmental management systems. The role ensures compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards while fostering a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and monitor HSSE policies, procedures, and programs.
  2. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.
  3. Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits.
  4. Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  5. Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, preparing detailed reports and corrective action plans.
  6. Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, emissions, pollution prevention, and resource conservation.
  7. Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including evacuation drills and emergency response planning.
  8. Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSSE training for employees and contractors.
  9. Promote a strong safety culture through employee engagement and awareness campaigns.
  10. Supervise the use, inspection, and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  11. Maintain HSSE records, permits, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
  12. Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, clients, and external stakeholders during inspections and audits.
  13. Track HSSE performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare management reports.
  14. Support risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.

Qualifications:

  1. With 2 year experience
  2. PCO accredited with experience
  3. Microsoft Office proficient
  4. Can create training materials / presentations
